Digimask has thrown the wraps off of Autohead, the latest version of its head-creation system.

Digimask faces the future

The new version can create a fully-articulated 3D head from just two images in one minute and swaps out the marker-based system in previous versions for automated algorithms that do the work themselves.

It’s already turning heads, having been signed up as a middleware supplier for both 360 and Unreal Engine, with the first games to include player face-input functions appearing at the end of the year.
